A founder of Howick & Brooker in Old Harlow in 1975, Alan has been in the estate agency industry since 1967, starting his career in Bishop’s Stortford with Arbon & Upon and managing offices in Saffron Walden, Epping and Stortford. He is regularly consulted by the media and other property related publications for his expert analysis of the local housing market, personal history and estate agency in general for which he is a frequent critic. In his free time, Alan is a regular golfer and cricket lover. He is a past Captain of Canons Brook Golf Club, a member of Royal Worlington & Newmarket Golf Club and is an MCC member, regularly attending Lords or Harlow Cricket Clubs’ picturesque ground in the old town where he has been President or over twelve years.
