July has seen Mullucks Wells' Commercial Dept carry out a record number of 67 viewings on their properties. At least one third of all available properties were visited and around a third of these received offers.
Whilst a high proportion of the viewings were for offices - offices make up the greatest number of available properties - by far the greatest level of interest was received for two small industrial units in Great Dunmow which received 13 viewings and are both now under offer and having transactions agreed. This follows on from our recent successful letting of 3 units on the Chelmsford Road Industrial Estate.
Smaller offices of up to 2000 sq ft have seen a good level of interest as have retail properties with enquiries from both new ventures and existing businesses seeking to expand.
This increased activity coincides with a report from the British Retail Consortium announcing the best July sales growth since 2006.
