Mullucks Wells to Centralise Services in Stortford

Local estate agent Mullucks Wells is to centralise its Bishop’s Stortford sales and lettings operation in one building.
From March 4th 2011, the Guild House in Water Lane will become the company’s main HQ for both sides of the business, meaning the closure of its premises at 12 North Street, and the relocation of all staff working there.
Announcing the move, Mullucks Wells Chairman Tim Trembath said: “Being able to combine our sales and lettings services in Bishop’s Stortford under one roof makes perfect sense.
“There is so much cross-over business these days – either with people who find themselves letting because they can’t sell, or people who have already sold a property but are renting while they find somewhere to buy. In the future, all members of staff dealing with their properties will be under one roof, rather than in two separate buildings.”
Mullucks Wells has installed a new IT infrastructure in its Water Lane premises, and has spent recent weeks preparing the office for the arrival of the lettings team from North Street.
Tim Trembath added: “Mullucks Wells is one of the biggest lettings outfits in town, and we are always looking for new ways to improve our services and efficiency for our customers.
“Sales and lettings are under the same roof at our offices in Saffron Walden and Great Dunmow - and it has worked in those locations very successfully for years.
“This move will simply bring our Stortford operation into line with what happens at our other branches.”
