Leading regional estate agents Mullucks Wells has been granted planning approval for its new office in Epping.
The new premises will be at 134-136 High Street, on a site previously occupied by ‘The Box’ – a social space and education centre for young people, which is moving to the former church hall in St John’s Road. The move adds a fourth branch to the company’s existing offices, currently based in Bishop’s Stortford, Saffron Walden and Great Dunmow.
Mullucks Wells Director Daniel Galati said: “This is excellent news for Mullucks Wells, as Epping has been on our wish-list for some time. It continues our business model of locating our offices in market towns along the Essex/Hertfordshire border, following the route of the M11. As well as selling properties in and around Epping, this means that for the first time we will be able to extend our operation within the M25.”
The office will be headed by branch manager Martin Young, 47, who joined Mullucks Wells in 2013 after 14 years as a country homes manager at an independent agency in Essex, and was previously a building surveyor in Epping, Woodford Green, Buckhurst Hill, and Loughton.
Martin Young explained: “Mullucks Wells will be the only Epping agency to offer the whole spectrum of estate agency services. Until now, the town has been without a multi-disciplinary agency, able to cover sales and lettings in both the residential and commercial sectors. We will shortly be looking to recruit personnel to fulfil positions which will soon become available.”
The new premises will be given a total refurbishment, as well as being kitted out with the latest IT equipment and touch-screen technology. They are expected to open at the beginning of April.
Martin Young added: “Epping has been crying out for a full-service, high quality, traditional estate agent for years. And I’m pleased to say that Mullucks Wells will soon be here to provide the services the town so richly deserves.”
