Leading regional estate agents Mullucks Wells are to expand into the popular market town of Epping.
The move adds a fourth branch to the company’s existing offices based in Bishop’s Stortford, Saffron Walden and Great Dunmow.
Managing Director of Mullucks Wells, Richard Roberts said: “Epping has long been a target area for us. It expands our reach down the Essex/Hertfordshire border following the route of the M11, and like our other three branches is in a highly desirable market town. As well as selling properties in and around Epping, it also means that for the first time we will be able to extend our operation within the M25.”
Mullucks Wells has acquired the well-established residential and letting agency Lloyd Williams, which has been based in Epping for over 25 years. The business owner John Lloyd Williams, who founded the company in 1988, has joined the staff of Mullucks Wells.
John Lloyd Williams explained: “After more than a quarter of a century in Epping, I was keen to ensure that I handed over the business to a traditional estate agency with an excellent reputation - and Mullucks Wells fitted the bill perfectly.”
The move also means that Mullucks Wells has acquired the use of a vintage 1962 open-top double-decker Bristol bus, which will make its first appearance with its new branding at Epping Christmas Market on Friday 6 December (see picture, attached).
Richard Roberts added: “As well as taking over the existing residential and commercial lettings business, by next year we hope to establish the full-service, high quality, traditional estate agency which Epping so richly deserves.”
