Leading local estate agent Mullucks Wells has raised over £30,000 for local charities, just six months into its year-long campaign.

Back in April this year, the company announced that it would be raising funds for West Essex Mind, ResCU, and The Helen Rollason Cancer Trust as part of the celebrations to mark its 21st anniversary, by carrying out a series of fundraising events and sponsored activities, as well as donating £100 for every property sold.

The total collected so far has now reached £33,851, with the money due to be divided equally between all three good causes.

Mullucks Wells Marketing Manager Louise Gosden said: “We’re thrilled with the result. The sum raised so far has been more than we could possibly have hoped for at this stage, and our thanks go out to everyone who has helped generate such an impressive sum of money in such a short space of time.”

The single most successful event held so far was an auction at the Mullucks Wells’ Summer Ball held at Quendon Hall in July and attended by 250 guests, which raised over £4,000.

Events in the pipeline include a late night shopping evening in Great Dunmow in early December, as well as a sponsored cycle ride along the River Stort between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford, and a sponsored walk between all three offices, due to take place in the spring of next year.

Louise Gosden added: “The money will help these three charities make even greater strides in the amazing work that they are carrying out locally – and these latest figures indicate that Mullucks Wells is now on track to raise our target figure of £50,000 by April next year.”
