We are once again supporting this fabulous event which takes place on 23rd to 25th February. This will be County High’s sixth Music Festival and the Winners’ Concert will be held in Saffron Hall.
We are delighted to be supporting this event again and are very much looking forward to experiencing the musical talents of young people in this inspiring and exciting auditorium.
The Music Festival is divided into 6 sections this year with an adjudicator for each
one: Piano, Brass, Woodwind, Vocal, Bowed Strings and Guitar.
Within each of the six sections, there are various classes ranging from pre beginner
to advanced level. The winner of the Challenge Class, the grade 7-8 class, will receive
a trophy. The Adjudicator will pick one overall section winner from any of the classes to
perform in the Winners’ Concert which will be held on the Sunday afternoon.
The six section winners of the festival will all perform in a young musician of the year style final. An overall winner is chosen who is then awarded the Mullucks Wells Trophy.
