About Our Bishop's Stortford Office

Our offices are prominently located in Water Lane, close to the centre of the market town of Bishop’s Stortford. These fine offices house our residential sales and lettings teams as well as the company’s commercial division.

From here, our dedicated and highly experienced residential teams, headed up by William Wells, cover an area to the south beyond Hertford and Harlow, almost down to the M25, and to the north, as far up as the Royston/Newmarket Road, the A505, south of Cambridge and Baldock.

Office address:

The Guild House, Water Lane, Bishops Stortford. Hertfordshire, CM23 2JZ

About Bishop's Stortford

Bishop’s Stortford is a traditional and historic market town on the eastern edge of Hertfordshire and bordering west Essex. It is an area with outstanding communications including the M11 (J8), mainline services to London Liverpool Street and Stansted International Airport (about 4 miles). It also has some of the best schools in the County.

As one would expect of a popular and bustling town, it benefits from a good range of recreational facilities and amenities including an excellent golf club, swimming pool, cinema, rugby, football and cricket clubs, theatre and restaurants and a good range of national high street stores and independent shops.

The area surprises many who visit for the first time, as it is rural with many splendid villages offering a wide variety of architecturally and historically important properties. In addition, the historic National Trust owned Hatfield Forest lies within the heart of this area and offers 1000 acres of pasture and woodland to explore.

If you are looking for houses for sale in or around the Bishop’s Stortford area, please contact our office and we will ensure you are kept up to date with suitable properties as they come onto the market.
