Speedy House Sale Bags Luxury Villa for Radwinter Homeowners
A Radwinter couple now have two properties to enjoy, after taking part in a competition held by Mullucks Wells. As well as moving to a new home after a rapid house sale, they have won a £2,000 luxury villa holiday into the bargain.
Earlier this year, the estate agent ran a free prize draw for people who had instructed Mullucks Wells to sell their home, on the condition that it went under offer in the following six weeks.
Andrew Jarvis and his partner Kimberley Robinson had put their three bedroom Grade II listed cottage in Princes Well, Radwinter on the market in mid January. In just over a month, Mullucks Wells received an offer at close to the asking price of £320,000, enabling the couple to move to another property nearby.
Andrew Jarvis, 39, who runs a local construction company, said: “Mullucks Wells have an excellent reputation for selling our type of property. We were able to exchange after getting an acceptable offer in around five weeks - so they certainly came up trumps for us!”
The holiday, provided by Villa World, provides £2,000 towards the cost of hiring a luxury villa in Dubai, the Caribbean or Mediterranean at any time before the end of 2008.
Andrew added: “This isn’t the only bit of good news we’ve had recently. We’re expecting our first child in September, so we hope to be able to take full advantage of our prize sometime next year.”
